What do I need to bring?

Fishing License, Rain Gear, Warm Clothes, Hat/Cap, Sunglasses, Sun Screen, Camera, and Lunch for full day trips.

What will the guide bring?

State of the Art Bass Boat, Gas & Oil, Rods & Reels, Bait & Tackle, Water & Ice, Life Vests.

Can I bring my own tackle?

Anglers may bring personal equipment, but should consult with the guide first since local conditions differ from home waters.

How much does a Branson fishing guide cost?

+

Half day trips (4 hours) start at $350 for two anglers on Table Rock Lake or Lake Taneycomo. Full day trips offer better value for serious anglers. Additional guests are $75 each. All tackle, bait, and equipment included.

When do I pay for my trip?

A $75 deposit needs to be paid when you make your reservation. Your deposit is refundable as long as you cancel your trip at least 72 hours prior to your trip. The balance must be paid prior to leaving.

Can I keep my fish?

We promote catch and release on all black bass species. If you are interested in taking home some fish to eat, let your guide know in advance and we will target some of the better eating species.

Will the guide clean my fish?

Absolutely! Branson Fishing Guides are experts at cleaning fish.

Do you offer group trips?

Yes, we handle groups of any size through affiliated guides.

Can I re-schedule a trip?

Yes, as long as you contact us a minimum of 72 hours prior to your scheduled trip you may re-schedule.

Do I need a fishing license?

Absolutely. You can purchase a license by phone or online through the Missouri Department of Conservation website before your trip.

What kind of bait will we use?

That will depend on the conditions and the species targeted. We use both artificial and live bait depending on what works best.

Does the guide fish?

The guide may fish when using live bait or during slow conditions to locate fish, establish patterns, and monitor fish movement - never to out-fish clients.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes! Contact us by phone or email and we will be happy to assist you with giving a gift certificate.

What is the best time of year to fish Table Rock Lake?

+

Table Rock Lake fishes well year round. Spring (March through May) offers the best bass fishing during the spawn. Fall (September through November) produces excellent topwater action. Winter trout fishing on Lake Taneycomo is outstanding.

Is Keith Greenough a licensed fishing guide?

Yes. Keith Greenough is licensed by the U.S. Coast Guard and carries full commercial liability insurance. He has been guiding professionally on Table Rock Lake and Lake Taneycomo for over 20 years.

Can beginners go on a guided fishing trip?

Absolutely. Keith accommodates anglers of all skill levels from complete beginners to tournament professionals. Beginners receive instruction on casting, technique, and fish handling. Many first time anglers catch their personal best fish with Keith.

Will you pick me up at my hotel in Branson?

Yes. Keith provides complimentary pickup and return from most Branson area resorts and hotels. Let him know your location when booking and he will meet you at the dock or your hotel.

What fish can I catch in Branson Missouri?

+

Table Rock Lake offers Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Kentucky (Spotted) Bass, Crappie, and Bluegill. Lake Taneycomo is a premier cold water fishery for Rainbow Trout and Brown Trout. Keith targets all species depending on season and client preference.
