### Is there a deposit?

Yes. A $75 refundable deposit holds your date. Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your trip and you get the full deposit back. The balance is paid before you leave the dock on trip day.
### What payment methods do you accept?

Cash or Venmo. Keith keeps things simple so you do not have to worry about card fees or processing delays. Pay the balance before you leave the dock.
### What is your cancellation policy?

Cancel or reschedule at least 72 hours before your trip and your $75 deposit is fully refundable. Weather cancellations always get a full refund or a free reschedule on a date that works for your group.
### What kind of boat do you use?

A modern Nitro bass boat, tournament rigged with GPS, electronics, and all the gear you would see on the Bassmaster tour. Safe, fast, and built to fish all day in any conditions Table Rock or Taneycomo can throw at you.
### Do you teach beginners how to fish?

Yes. Many first time anglers catch their personal best fish with Keith. He covers casting, knot tying, hook setting, and fish handling. No experience required. Just show up ready to have fun.

# Lake Taneycomo Trout Fishing Guide

A 22 mile cold water tailwater on the White River, beginning at the base of Table Rock Dam in Branson, Missouri and running downstream to Powersite Dam. Cold water released from the base of the dam keeps the lake cold all year, which makes Lake Taneycomo one of the few year round trout fisheries in the central United States.

## A Year Round Cold Water Trout Fishery
Rainbow trout stocked regularly by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Brown trout to trophy size in the cold tailwater, with Missouri state record browns from these waters. Year round window across all four seasons.

## Trip Options on Lake Taneycomo
Boat based drift fishing on the upper trophy water below Table Rock Dam. Drift presentations with small jigs, scuds, micro midges, and float rigs depending on the day's generation schedule. Half day and full day trips available.

Rainbow trout (most common quarry, MDC stocked regularly). Brown trout (trophy potential, winter peak window).

## The Trophy Trout Area
The upper three miles of Lake Taneycomo from Table Rock Dam to Fall Creek is managed by the Missouri Department of Conservation as a trophy trout area. Artificial lures and flies only. Specific length limits on brown trout. Captain Keith manages all rules on every trip.

## Pricing, Resort Pickup, and Kids Fish Free
Full day guided trips: $550. Additional anglers: $75 to $100 depending on trip type. Refundable deposit to hold a date: $75. Cash or Venmo for the balance the day of the trip. Resort pickup at participating lakefront resorts is included. Kids fish free program for accompanying children with their booking parent.

## Missouri Fishing License and Trout Permit
Lake Taneycomo trout fishing requires a Missouri fishing license plus a Missouri trout permit. Both apply to residents and non residents. Buy at mdc.mo.gov before the trip. Children under sixteen do not need a license or permit.
